Hi there! This is Admin (the friend who sent you the email) writing.

Have you ever wanted to write and share your writing? Have you ever wanted to share your writing anonymously, or (relatively anonymously)? Have you ever wanted to be kept accountable to write, and maybe have that happen anonymously?

Well, that’s the purpose of this website. This is going to be a private blog- I am the only one with the ability to add new users.

My hope is that this will be a place where you and I can either share updates about stories we’re writing, or share the stories themselves, and hopefully get feedback and encouragement, should you request it.

For those of you suffering writers block, I will try to post a challenge / question / useful resource about once a week. It might just be a story idea from SeventhSanctum, but there will be something here each Sunday. Starting after today, the posts will be password protected so that nobody uninvited can steal my ideas. 🙂

This blog will, of course, only work if you participate. So if you want to join, I would ask that you write at least a short “update” periodically. Preferably that would be each week, but I understand if you’re a bit busy. I would also ask you to comment on at least one post each week, or every other week. Assuming there are any posts that request comments, of course.

And I might change that request, depending. (If I do, I’ll inform you via email. 😉 )

In that category, if you sign up, I will send an email to the the address associated with your account if you do not participate without explaining why. If I continue to not hear back from you, I will figure out what to do from there. It might involve deleting your account, or, more likely, changing your password so you won’t be able to access it. This will only be after about more than a month of no response or activity. I’m instituting this policy so that you’ll have added incentive to actually participate, and to ensure that there won’t be anybody who joins just for the purpose of reading others’ work without actually contributing. 🙂 (I really doubt I’ll have to use this policy at all. But I wanted to make you aware of all the facts before continuing 😉 )

I anticipate this blog continuing at least for June and July. I may or may not continue it past then- it’ll depend upon you.

If you’re interested, there are a few ways you can be added to this site. Unfortunately, they all involve email, since I will need to add you by using your email address.

First is completely anonymous: send me an email from an email address I don’t know about (Please send it to the address you got the invitation to join this blog from? 🙂 ) Reminder- I will use whatever email address you reply with, unless you specify a different email address you want me to use. Please make it an actual email address, though, since there is login information in the email. 🙂 Also, you should send me a username.

The second option is semi-anonymous. Just reply to the invitation email. If you want me to add you using a different email address, let me know. You should also send me a username with this option.

As an alternative, if you’d like, if you send me your preferred username, I can give you a new email address of [username]@writers.totalfluff.com, which you can access at webmail.writers.totalfluff.com. (Because that’s not complicated at all…) That email address would then be associated with your new username on this blog.
